A dedicated lawyer, legal consultant, and human rights advocate with extensive expertise in international law and human rights. Ready for international capacity building in all fields.
She holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Duhok, a Master’s degree in International Law and Human Rights with distinction, and a PhD in Human Rights and Law Enforcement from Cairo University, Egypt.
Throughout her career, Dr. Hasan has combined academic excellence with practical legal experience. She has been actively engaged in protecting women’s rights, advancing access to justice, and strengthening the rule of law in Iraq. Her work includes providing legal consultation, offering advocacy support, and collaborating with both local and international organizations to raise awareness about human rights violations.
At the University of Duhok, she contributes to the Library and Law Departments, where she supports academic development and mentors students in legal and human rights research. Beyond academia, she has participated in international networking initiatives, working to bridge local legal reform efforts with global human rights standards.
Her professional interests focus on legal reform, women’s empowerment, justice sector capacity-building, and reinforcing the connection between academic research and practical advocacy.
