KIANO Organization believes that environmental protection is a shared responsibility that begins within communities and academic institutions. Based on this vision, the organization implemented a tree-planting initiative at the University of Duhok, in coordination with the American Corner, with the aim of enhancing environmental awareness among students, reducing pollution, and supporting green spaces on campus.
Through this initiative, KIANO seeks to encourage youth to adopt positive environmental practices and to make the university a model of community responsibility and sustainable development.
تؤمن منظمة كيانو بأن حماية البيئة مسؤولية مشتركة تبدأ من المجتمع والجامعات. ومن هذا المنطلق، نفذت المنظمة مبادرة لزراعة الأشجار في جامعة دهوك، بالتنسيق مع الكورنر الأمريكي، بهدف تعزيز الوعي البيئي لدى الطلبة، والمساهمة في تقليل التلوث، ودعم المساحات الخضراء داخل الحرم الجامعي. كما تسعى هذه المبادرة إلى تشجيع الشباب على تبني سلوكيات إيجابية تجاه البيئة، وتحويل الجامعة إلى نموذج ملهم للمسؤولية المجتمعية والتنمية المستدامة
